Cristina Pascual Godoy violon

Cristina Pascual was born in Spain in 1985 and she started her violin studies in Málaga with Enrique Shüssler and from 2002 to 2006 with Santiago de la Riva at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga. She finished in 2010 her Master Specialisé en Violon with High Distintion and in 2011 she got her Master Didactique degree studying with Shirly Laub at the Conservatoire Royal de Musique in Brussels and receiving a grant from the Consejería de Cultura de la Junta de Andalucía.

She has attended masterclasses with masters Vartan Manoogian, Jean Jacques Kantorow, Radu Blidar, Alan Brind, Augustin Dumay, Ivry Gitlis, Gordan Nikoich, Michael Thomas, Axel Wilczok, Vicente Huertas, Alexander Trostiansky, Seguei Theslia, Anne Marie Mogan, among others. She has studied chamber music with Danel's Quartet and Muhiddin D.Demiriz and has played as a soloist in the Orquesta de Cámara de la Universidad de Málaga, the Orquesta de Cámara Pablo Picasso, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Punta Umbría (Huelva) and the Camerata de Música de Antequera in Spain. She has also performed several recitals throughout the Spanish geography.

Cristina has played in several professional orchestras: in Spain, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga, the Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga (OSPM), the Orquesta FIlarmónica de Andalucía (OFA), the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (OCG), ARSIAN, the Camerata de Madrid and the Orquesta Joven de Andalucía (OJA) and With the OJA she participated in the Aberdeen International Youth Orchestra and in the Scottish Festival Orchestra with Daniel Baremboim as a conductor. In Belgium, she was invited to play with the Oxalys Ensemble in the Festival Musiq3 (2011 edition). Also she participated with l'Orchestre National de Belgique in 2013.

She has recorded for radio national of Belgium for the Festival Musiq'3 in 2012 and 2013.

Currently is a violinist and founding member at YES Camerata (Young European String Camerata) since 2012.
